Blown glass diamonds weave an intricate fabric of light, through the magic of reflection and tessellation.

Inspired by Australia’s famed coloured diamonds and the Argyle textile pattern, Nichetto Studio has thoughtfully combined Luca Nichetto’s native legacy of contemporary glass design with Rakumba’s half-century heritage of lighting and fabric.

Interpreted through the medium of glass, the Argyle collection reveals interlocking diamond forms, composed in colourless or subtly coloured layers. Presenting as pendant, floor and table lamps, Argyle spans a multitude of applications; singular gem-like units hanging above tables, tessellating screens forming a tapestry of light across open spaces, and grand chandelier compositions in luxurious foyers.

Nichetto Studio’s collaboration with Rakumba represents their first work with an Australian brand and reflects a shared love of strong narrative and emotional connection to design.
