Puffer has been created with a love of simple shapes and the idea of comfort as a function. Working closely with the product development team at SCP’s specialist upholstery factory (Tim, Donna and Martin), Philippe Malouin took inspiration from the feather-filled Puffer jacket, to create a design that encloses the sitter in a similar way. Impressively comfortable, this design shows a deep understanding of the possibilities of traditional upholstery making.

Made at SCP’s specialist upholstery factory in Norfolk, England. The solid beech frame has a pocket sprung seat and a zig zag sprung back, it is covered with natural fibres, hessian, rubberised hair, needled wool and inter-liner. The pocket sections are made of four separate pure feather pads.
