Every April, the international design community turns its eyes to Italy for Salone del Mobile and Fuorisalone. As Hong Kong’s premier destination for design-led furniture and lighting, Archetypal is thrilled to share the most awe-inspiring moments from Milan Design Week 2026.
From monumental public art to intimate explorations of light and form, our partner brands once again pushed the boundaries of craftsmanship, sustainability, and technological innovation. Here is a curated look at the 2026 highlights from the brands we proudly represent.

Giopato & Coombes | Nokori

For Milano Design Week 2026, Giopato & Coombes presents Nokori — The Light That Remains, a collection of luminous sculptures where light serves as a sheltered, internal structure rather than a decorative effect. These autonomous forms balance geometric tension with organic softness, utilizing layered glass to physically inhabit the surrounding space. By exploring the quiet choreography of scale and equilibrium, the installation moves beyond traditional lighting, using matter and "the light that remains" to create a deeper, more permanent sense of inhabitation.

Secolo & TABLEAU | A Study in Reconnection

At Milano Design Week 2026, Secolo debuts its first external collaboration with Danish studio TABLEAU at Via Giacosa 35. This immersive installation explores the theme of reconnection, blending imagination with tactile, spontaneous living. Central to the exhibition are the new Trace sofa and a reimagined Pingu side table, showcased alongside Secolo’s Plumea lounge chair. Together, these pieces create a dialogue between TABLEAU’s multidisciplinary vision and Secolo’s evolving language, fostering a renewed, shared narrative with the environment.

Secolo | A Sanctuary of Slow Design

At Salone del Mobile 2026, Secolo presents its new collection within a carefully designed exhibition space conceived to slow perception and invite a more attentive way of experiencing design. The stand unfolds as a sequence of calm, fragmented rooms, guiding visitors through a series of perspectives where each composition is revealed gradually. Through controlled sightlines and a deliberate spatial rhythm, the installation moves away from the visual noise typical of the fair, creating a quieter and more contemplative environment.

Rakumba & Studiopepe | Torre

Rakumba’s collaboration with Studiopepe introduces Torre, a collection celebrating the interplay of concave and convex forms. The design utilizes fixed panels to playfully conceal and reveal light, creating a shifting optical illusion as you move. Featuring weather-sealed wall lights and portable, rechargeable table lamps, the range is ideal for seamless indoor-outdoor living. Available in four signature colors—black, red, ivory, and green—Torre combines architectural depth with the functional freedom of high-end, weather-resistant portable lighting.

Lee Broom | Sculptural Lighting Installation Beacon
Lee Broom took over the heart of Milan with BEACON, a monumental sculptural lighting installation situated at the iconic Piazza San Babila. Drawing inspiration from Brutalist architecture and the 1951 Festival of Britain, the towering installation reinterprets classic street lamps into a vast, breathtaking chandelier. In a beautiful nod to sustainable luxury, BEACON was crafted using a unique fusing technology that upcycles discarded glass shards in collaboration with Brokis (another exceptional brand in our roster). What we admire most is the forward-thinking lifecycle of the design: after its international tour, the structure can be seamlessly deconstructed and repurposed into individual light fixtures.

Buster + Punch & GROHE SPA | Aqua Sanctuary Installation

At Brera’s Piccolo Teatro Studio Melato, Buster + Punch and GROHE SPA debut "Aqua Sanctuary," an immersive installation redefining the bathroom as a high-end self-care retreat. The collaboration integrates Buster + Punch’s signature solid metal hardware and precision lighting with the GROHE SPA Atrio Private Collection. By blending tactile luxury with innovative materials like Caesarstone quartz, the sanctuary creates a holistic, sensory environment where architectural hardware and water technology converge to elevate the private bathing experience.

La Chance | Hexa 67 table at the Mobilier national exhibition

As part of the Mobilier national exhibition, La Chance reissues the iconic HEXA 67 table by Joseph-André Motte for the very first time. Originally developed as a historical prototype at the ARC (Atelier de Recherche et de Création) in 1967, this reissue brings a long-hidden piece of French design heritage to the public. The table exemplifies Motte’s mastery of geometric precision
