A Sanctuary for the Next Decade For the “Sea and Grain Life Savoured” residence at Larvotto, Stylus Studio was briefed to create a timeless home that would evolve with a growing family.
Guided by a “dialogue between water and mountain,” the design balances modern clarity with Eastern calm, using a palette of blues, greens, and warm timber to create a deeply personal sanctuary overlooking Shum Wan.
Ross Gardam Ceto Offset Wall Light In the primary suite, the Ross Gardam Ceto Offset Wall Light - serves as the pivotal element where the project’s conceptual narrative and functional requirements converge.
While the Ceto collection mimics the ripples of the ocean, the Frosted Black finish adds a layer of depth and mystery. It evokes the stillness of deep water or a moonlit night, perfectly reinforcing the "Eastern calm" and "quiet detail" that define Stylus Studio’s vision for the space.
In a space designed for rest, glare control is paramount. The Ceto’s textured glass acts as a natural diffuser, softening the light source into a warm, ambient glow rather than a harsh directional beam. This quality of light supports the project’s goal of "Eastern calm," providing a gentle transition from the activity of the day to the stillness of sleep.
