VC Residence – Lim + Lu | Residential Project

Nestled atop the Peak in Hong Kong, VC Residence stands as a testament to the seamless integration of architectural minimalism and subtle Japanese design influences. Spanning 1300 square feet, this space exudes understated elegance and tranquillity, thanks to the meticulous attention to detail and cohesive design motif curated by renowned design duo Lim + Lu.

Archetypal had the privilege of working alongside Lim + Lu to provide lighting solutions that complemented their vision for VC Residence. In this project, Lim + Lu selected lighting fixtures that seamlessly integrated into the architectural narrative while adding depth and ambiance to each space.

In the bathroom, Lim + Lu chose the Greenstone pendant by Marc Wood Studio for its ability to cast a warm, serene glow that harmonizes with the natural material palette of VC Residence. Inspired by ornamental Indian architecture and meticulously crafted using traditional stone masonry techniques, the Greenstone pendant added a touch of traditional charm to the space as requested by Lim + Lu.

Similarly, in the bedroom, Lim + Lu selected the Metropol Pendant by Rakumba for its elegant design and innovative use of light. Featuring a distinctive trifoliate form, the Metropol Pendant creates a captivating ambiance, enveloping the sleep sanctuary with a soft, beautiful cast of light. Its versatile design seamlessly integrates into the space as envisioned by Lim + Lu.
